What? — U.S. Coast-Guard-approved class: “About Boating Safely”

When? — On the third Wednesday and Thursday of each month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: March 19 and 20, April 16 and 17, May 21 and 22, June 18 and 19, July 16 and 17, Aug. 20 and 21, Sept. 17 and 18, Oct. 15 and 16, and Nov. 19 and 20.

Where? — Cabela’s, 9380 W. Glendale Ave.

Why? — Learning how to boat safely is the obvious goal for students and instructors alike.
